AJP and BLP are involved in a few fun activities during this spring (fall for you Northern Hemisphere readers). AJP has swimming class, soccer and baseball. BLP has swimming. The swimming classes are in Portuguese but AJP’s soccer and baseball are in English. We feel very fortunate to have the kids in these activities. They are making wonderful friends and learning so much. We have included pictures of swimming and soccer-baseball. The day I took the pictures of Little League, it was raining just hard enough to prevent baseball but not enough to prevent playing in general. The coach, a Canadian, said that the kids could play soccer-baseball. The American fathers were quick to point out that we call it kick ball. No matter the name, the kids had a great time learning about the rules of baseball while using a soccer ball. We are missing pictures of AJP playing soccer. I will post some of those along with real baseball pictures next.
