Home Leave Part Two - Wyoming

After a wonderful trip to Boston we went to Star Valley, Wyoming. One of the major things these two places share is that they are very cold. We were able to squat in TSP’s aunt and uncle’s basement for quite some time. We had a great time seeing family that we have not seen in a few years. Grandma E was able to give AJP some reading lessons that really paid off. Having a kindergartner out of school for almost a month can be a trial, but things went well mostly due to Grandma E’s help.

The highlight of this part of our trip was AJP’s early birthday party of February 17th. TSP made a fire truck cake that has most likely set the birthday cake bar too high for the kids. BLP is expecting a butterfly cake for her birthday that looks like it will be next to impossible to make.

Below are photos of AJP, BLP and their cousins playing in the snow and the infamous firetruck cake.
