After a week in Utah we went back to Wyoming. While we were there AJP got some more lessons and we went to an elk refuge with the kids. We tried to relax as much as possible since we coming from and going to very stressful situations. However, the majority of our time was dedicated to getting ready to go to Brazil. TSP once again took the lead (good thing because if it were JTP’s responsibility most of our stuff would still be in Wyoming!). She packed our five wheeled duffle checked bags, car seat bag (with AJP's booster seat and two more bags in it), two boxes to be checked, four wheeled carryon bags and four personal items. Of course, everything had to weighed and research done on airline allowances so there were limited surprises at the airport. We were really a presence at the airport when the day came to leave. One of the great, albeit frustrating, parts of travel is that AJP and BLP now want to roll their own carry on bags. They looked so cute, especially BLP since her bag was almost as big as her and probably weighed almost as much as well.
Home leave was exciting and relaxing (most of the time). We really could not have done it without the generosity of so many family members and friends. We love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Below are pictures at the elk refuge. I wish I had pictures of us at the airport but we are too worried about getting on the plane and not loosing one of the kids to take pictures!
