I know I am the parent but I think AJP is one of the luckiest kids around. Last year, he did not have one, not two but FOUR birthday parties! We were in the process of moving so he had one with JTP’s parents, one with my mom, one with his class at school and one at our apartment in Brazil. This year his luck continued. For a special surprise on his birthday, we let AJP skip school and we took him to the beach. He also invited some friends over for a “Star Wars” themed birthday party. We had a Death Star scavenger hunt, played Galaxy kick ball, pin the light saber on the Jedi and Jedi, Jedi, Vader (we actually did not play this variation of duck, duck, goose since we ran of time but I thought the concept was genius – thank you very much!). We finished the party off with a “Star Wars” cake. The cake showed the Anakin/Obi-Wan fight scene from “Revenge of the Sith”. It is funny that he would have that scene as the theme for his party since he only saw the first part of the movie. (I turned it off because I thought it was too violent for him.) However, when we did image searches on the internet he loved all the pictures we found that showed that scene. We used that scene as the inspiration for the cake, invitations, games and colors for the party. He loved every minute of it.

We had a great time - thanks for having us. I have been talking about that cake and ice cream to anybody who has any remote interest in cake or ice cream. They were PHENOMENAL!!!
