Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Doris Kearns GoodwinMy review
rating: 5 of 5 stars
Excellent. It is amazing to see how Lincoln worked with such a diverse group in trying times and made it work. The book is long (it took me a couple of months to actually read it) but worth the read.

It is absolutely critical to your readership that you--however cryptically--inform us who is writing these posts. Yes, yes, we know it's JSP being grateful on Fast Sunday, but Lincoln? Now that one is truly up for grabs. How can I commit to a lengthy biography without knowing the source of the recommendation?
It was me. JP
Just as I suspected. And by the way, when I said JSP was being grateful on Fast Sunday, of course I meant TSP. Oops. Too many initials, not enough time at the computer between toddler antics.
