As with every month, there is so much this month to be grateful for that it is hard to choose what to put on my list. We have had a full and exciting month. In so many ways, this month has been a blur as I try to keep up with school, work, my calling at church and my family. Through it all I have been immensely blessed. The answers to my prayers have always came in quiet and small ways – reminding me that I do have a Father in Heaven that loves me and blesses me endlessly.
This Fast Sunday I am grateful for the following:
1. That JTP’s parents are preparing to serve a mission for our church. They are giving up two years of their life to serve people they don’t know in an unknown location. This will require a lot of sacrifice on their part. They will miss holidays and other special family events but they know they will be blessed for this sacrifice. I am glad they are willing to make those sacrifices.
2. Hearing the testimony of a little girl today in our sacrament meeting. This eight year old girl shared how she knew that prayers were answered. She said that she knew God still answered our prayers even if it took a long time or if it wasn’t what we wanted to hear. I almost cried when I realized that had been the lesson in Primary the previous Sunday. It made me so grateful that I was blessed to play a part in this young girl’s life.
3. The incredible beauty of the earth. A week ago yesterday, we received the first snow. Seeing the white snow fall on the vibrant red, orange and yellow leaves was really incredible. I feel so blessed to witness such beauty.

It's been a long time since I've visited your blog and I just covered back to September's fast Sunday. How is your sister? Sounds like you have so much going on and I just think you'll be able to handle it all. I love reading your blog because it's fun to keep up on your family, but also because you're always sharing your testimony and so many thoughtful things. I'm always touched and inspired. Thank you.
