I am a little late in writing this but I want to keep it up so bare with me! This Fast Sunday I am grateful:
1. That the kids are both back in school AJP started last Monday and BLP started today (Monday).
2. That I served a mission for my church. Fifteen years ago, I was preparing to put in my papers to receive my mission call. I have been thinking about this lately because my visiting teaching companion is going to start her mission on Wednesday. I so excited for her!
3. That my friends in Bogota are safe. The recent bomb was 50 yards from the building we used to live in and where some of our friends still live. I know God was protecting them and many others.

Can I leave something that I'm grateful for on your Grateful Fast Sunday posting? I'm grateful that the crazy riots near your house last night didn't reach your house. I was thinking about y'all and am hoping that nonsense ends now before it goes further afield.
Thank you for your thoughts. We were in no real danger. It was kind of surreal. We could see the fires out our back windows and hear the police helicopters.
