Happy Thanksgiving

We have had a very exciting year!  We have been blessed to see most members of our extended family and many friends before we moved to Brazil.  We have been blessed by the warmth and welcomeness of the Brazilian people – especially our church friends.  As a family, we are grateful for the love that keeps us together and the opportunities to share it with others.  As has become our tradition, we sat down as a family and made a list of what each of us is thankful for.  As Thanksgiving Day approaches, we would like to share them with all of you and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

BLP

1.        The school she attends daily where she has great friends and is learning Portuguese.

2.       The bus that takes her to school.  The driver is so friendly and makes her feel important.

3.       The Wonder Woman costume she wore for Halloween.  She uses the bracelets to fight fend off light saber attacks.

AJP

1.       The joy of losing two teeth in one year.

2.       His windpipe because it helps him breath.

3.       The light sabers and Jedi costume that he earned!

TSP

1.       The internet that allows us to stay connected with those far far away.

2.       The opportunity to serve the women in our church congregation.  It has stretched me and helped me to grow in ways I would never have guessed.

3.        The beautiful green trees in our neighborhood that have vibrant orange, pink, purple or yellow flowers.

JTP

1.       The opportunity to represent the United States every day.

2.       Living in a country that has so much to offer.

3.       A great family that always keeps me guessing.
