Halloween 2008

AJP is completely enthralled with Star Wars. He has even drawn story boards for the next three films. Sometimes I feel like that is all he can talk about. We indulged this obsession by letting him be a Jedi Knight this year for Halloween. He has since worn the costume 5 or 6 more times in the past two days. AJP’s school had a number of great activities. There was a Halloween carnival for the first grade and a costume parade. The costume parade was spectacular. Many of the teachers and support people were in the beginning with drums and other instruments ala Carnival. It was very excited and the kids were so happy.

About a month ago, we were watching TV some Saturday afternoon. Wonder Women came on and BLP was hooked. She talked of nothing else so we decided to get her the costume for Halloween. She was adorable but much more modest than the real Wonder Woman.  It was a frightful 70˚ F so she wore tights and a long sleeved shirt.

We went to a joint Consulate/American Society Halloween party at the Marine House. They had games and trick-or-treating. The best part was the American candy that the Consulate donated. The kids had a great time.

wow, those are awesome costumes! your kids look so good! how fun. :) we're all about star wars, too. while we were trick-or-treating, audrey said, "next year, i want to be someone from star wars, too." there were lots of light sabers out that night, i think she felt left out. :)
