Grateful Fast Sunday XXXVIII

A picture from Maasai-Mara National Park in Kenya. Stunning. (courtesy of the UK's Gaurdian)

Fast Sunday was actually last Sunday. I had a number of meetings last week so by the time I had a moment to write a grateful post, I was too tired. As always, I am so very blessed. I am grateful for the following:

1. Baby #3 (or Blue Belle as I like to call her) received a tentative but clean developmental bill of health. It is always scary to go to an ultrasound. I worry that the baby won’t have a brain or will be missing a leg or something. I was especially worried this time since AJP and BLP went to the ultrasound.

2. I find the strength to go on. Sometimes I just feel like giving up. It is not that I want to die or anything. I would just sit for a long while in a vegetative state. Things have been so overwhelming lately with school, work, the Primary, getting ready for the move, and a new baby coming that I have about gone crazy. I know without a doubt that it is a loving Heavenly Father that gives me the strength to go on. I am so grateful for that.

3. I have the brain power that I need. I have been terribly forgetful lately. I often can’t even remember that I forgot something. Somehow, it all slips away when I have to write a paper or do something important. My mind lights up and I do what I need to do. Shortly after the need is gone, I am forgetful again.

4. We are going to Kenya. JTP checked out a Kenya travel book from the library. There looks to be so many incredible places to see there. I am looking forward to seeing lions, giraffes, rhinoceros, and so many other things. What a blessing!

Congrats on Blue Belle's good bill of health. I understand that worry, too. I also understand the forgetfulness. It's the pregnant brain; I believe in it.

Is "Blue Belle" a girl, then? Yea!
