This Sunday I taught the lesson in Relief Society. We did some switching around for a variety of reasons so I taught a lesson from the Joseph Smith manual instead of the normal first Sunday lesson. The topic was friendship. Therefore, I have been reflecting a lot on true friendship. With this in mind, this Fast Sunday I am grateful for:
1. The wonderful friends I have been blessed with. I was always worried about friends growing up. The topic made me sensitive and insecure. I received countless priesthood blessings to help me overcome those feelings and received comfort. Friends were also mentioned in my patriarchal blessing. It promised me that I would have wonderful friends throughout my life. I am a living witness to the truthfulness of that promise. It has been fulfilled in an incredibly marvelous manner. I have so many dear friends. To those that are reading this, thank you and I love you all for your enduring love and support.
2. My two EFL students. It has been invigorating to teach them. It has been great to study and research topics for discussion and ways to improve their speaking. It has also helped me to see once again the value of friendship. My dear friend ML has been a great help with some of the pronunciation issues. JTP has been invaluable with his wonderful support and poignant advice.

Aw, shucks! Thanks for the shout out, but I'm afraid I wasn't that helpful. I'm just impressed that you're taking on such a great project! :)
