Comments
I love blog comments. While I am embarrassed to admit this, I often (probably too often) check back on our blog to see if we have comments**. I am usually underwhelmed by the responses but I am OK with it. I realize that I rarely comment on blogs that I read. I usually assume that people read it and think, "wow, I should comment on that post" and then get distracted (like I do). I do appreciate the comments that I get. I helps me to know who is still checking our blog. It is kind of like a little card in the mail that I was not expecting. So please feel free to comment. I may actually comment on yours! (Now I have to think if that last statement will deter comments - hmmm?)

Oooo, I get to make the first of what will surely be many comments! Thank you, Google Reader! :)
Here's a good comment for you: This afternoon, just out of the blue, I was thinking about how TSP came up to us when we first visited the Cambridge 2nd ward. She was the first one to introduce herself. I was thinking about that because we recently attended church for the first time in Colorado and a nice womam introduced herself. I thought, "I wonder if that woman will become a wonderful friend just like TSP did..." (So far the prognosis isn't too great--ha ha.)
I'm the same way with comments. I love getting them and rarely leave them. As far as stalking my own blog to read the comments - I found it easier to just set my blogger account to email me whenever someone left one. Also, blogpatrol.com is a good way to track who visits your site.
I don't comment often enough but I do read you faithfully. Does that count???
i love comments, too, but instead of checking your own blog for them, you should just have them emailed to you. it's in your settings. saves a bunch of time! :)
Great idea about getting them sent to me! Thank you all. I never thought to even look at the settings. If I do that, however, I actually may missing seeing the beautiful pictures of my kids. That is another reason I look at my blog so much - as well as one of the probable reasons for embarrassment. I miss my kids while they are at school at look at my blog to help me feel better!
I constantly check my blog, too, for the validation that people are really reading it. I know I should just get a blog tracker. I really enjoy the variety of your blog--that it's not all just about the latest cute things your kids are doing. I like that, but you include so many other things that really show the scope of your personality and interests. I hope to do that, too, but don't do such a good job. Kudos.
