More about the Primary Program

I forgot to mention one of the most interesting parts of the Primary Program.  It was a complete bilingual experience.  Each child gave their talk in their native language.  This meant that AJP gave his talk in English while AJP's friend P gave his talk in Portuguese.  The songs were distributed between the two languages as well.  The wonderful Primary song, "I am a Child of God/Sou um Filho de Deus" was split equally.  The first two verses were in Portuguese and the last two in English.  All the other songs followed similar patterns.  It was thrilling to see how the gospel of Jesus Christ transcends language and culture.
