Two weeks ago, I had an experience with a Cub Scout den and two
U.S. Marines. We had to do a flag
ceremony (to get the arrow of light). We did it with two Marines at the
embassy. We folded a huge garrison flag (the second biggest flag.) We could not
raise the flag because the crank was jammed so we only folded it. They use a
crank because the ropes are inside the pole. This is important because if
terrorists get in the embassy, they cannot get the flag. After we folded the
flag, we ate lunch with the Marines.
I thought it was
superb that I was able to fold a flag with pros.
