What we will miss about Brazil

BLP

1. Her room in our apartment. It was perfectly set up for a little girl including flowers on the drawer and closet handles.

2. The drinkable yogurts that she has every day.

3. Her friends from school and church.

AJP

1. His friends. He has had great friends at school and church. This year especially they have shared their soccer fever and AJP loves it.

2. The fanatical World Cup obsession. He can’t wait for the games. Viva Argentina!

3. Iguaçu Falls. He thought it was just wonderful.

TSP

1. The school. AJP’s school has been absolutely wonderful. It has had a great community, great teachers and great friends. Leaving today was the first time I started to cry with this move.

2. The green trees and flowers all year long. It really does not get better than that.

3. A maid. I really hate cleaning bathrooms. I will miss not having to do it.

JTP

1. Our wonderful friends. Over the past two years we have met some truly special people here in Brazil. We are especially grateful to the members of our ward for their friendship.

2. Churrasco. I will definitely miss the wonderful Brazilian barbeque. The meat was always great, and there was a great selection of salads and sides. US imitators have a long way to go if they want to catch up to the real experience.

2. Our vacations. We saw some fabulous places in Brazil from Foz de Iguaçu to Rio to the Amazon. They all took our breath away.
