Well, it has happened. BLP contracted chicken pox. She had the vaccination but still she caught the virus. The doctor assures me that this is the very reason that they do a booster at four. He told me that she will only have a very mild case and that we just have to wait it out. I suppose that it is that second part that has me worried. BLP will have to stay at home for the next week. By default, that means I will as well. I have spent the much of this afternoon clearing my calendar and rescheduling appointments. She is not very uncomfortable and does not have many red bumps from the rash. If it does not worsen, it will indeed be a mild case.
The picture below is of one of her little bumps that is on her chest. Look really hard! It is right at the base of her sternum.
