This past week BLP turned three. It is very difficult to believe how big she is. The other day she went with me to a cooking demo and lunch at the Consul General’s house. She was absolutely amazing. She sat quietly while she watched and listened to chef explain the dishes. Then during lunch she was even using her knife and fork. It was adorable. She is a joy for us to have in family.
Below are some pictures from her small party. We just invited the two girls from her church nursery class and had cake and ice cream. I made the butterfly cake from cupcakes – cool, huh? She could not have been more pleased!!
Endnote: BLP’s birthday also commemorates, more or less, how long we have lived this crazy FS lifestyle. Now, JTP is up to earning six hours of leave per pay-period!
